Peaceful Homes, Inc. was created from a desire to reach young people before they are forced to navigate adulthood alone.

Our founder , Therea Gardner, spent time working in adult corrections and juvenile justice, where she encountered individuals from many different backgrounds whose stories often shared a common thread: they lack consistent guidance, support , stability, and someone to help them understand the everyday decisions that shape adulthood.

Those experiences sparked a bigger question: What if young people had that support before they reached a crisis?

Peaceful Homes was created to help answer that question.

We are building a safe , nurturing transitional living program for young adults ages 18-21 aging out of fosters care. Beyond providing housing,our goal is to surround each young adult with guidance, life-skills education, accountability, encouragement, and opportunities that prepare them for independent adulthood.

We want every young person who comes through our doors to leave with more than a place they once stayed,. We want them to leave with confidence, practical skills, meaningful connections, and a stronger foundation for their future.
